Dawn Nolan is an experienced and highly skilled Accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapy Therapist, Clinical Supervisor and Trainer based in Rangiora, North Canterbury. Providing individual therapy for adults and adolescents, couples counselling, clinical supervision, mental health training packages and de-briefing services.

Finding a therapist you can feel at ease with is your first step. An authentic therapeutic relationship, where you know are accepted without judgement is crucial to your success in therapy. My aim is to provide you with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere; a safe place where you feel confident to explore your challenges, and give yourself the time to really consider your own needs, perhaps for the first time, with an individual approached tailored to your needs
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
There are many reasons why you may seek therapy. Interpersonal Psychotherapy is clinically proven to be an effective treatment for both mental health issues for example low mood, trauma or anxiety, and for healthy management of big changes or life's stressors.
For adolescents therapy can help with school or social anxiety, low self esteem or identity development.
Therapy is designed to assist you to discover a deeper understanding of your feelings, thoughts and behaviour, enabling you to explore areas of your life that you are struggling with. It may also involve you challenging your usual communication style or developing new coping strategies to improve self worth and empower the changes you desire
