OM Massage Therapy is owned and operated by Ruy Amaral, a massage therapist with 29 years experience and a background in nursing. Alongside Ruy is Valter Vidal,11 years experience massage therapist, whose commitment to the practice of OM Massage Therapy has been instrumental to its energy and success. Since opening here in 2006, OM Massage Therapy has become known as one of the best massage therapy centres in New Zealand. Many of Ruy and Valter's clients have been referred by their doctor, physician, midwife, personal trainer or other health professionals.

    My Addiction
    Once again I allowed my tired weary body to travelled down the.path of complete and utter bliss. Thankfully with previous massages I have received, the pain is much much less from when we started with each visit. And with each visit I am understanding that my body is not getting any younger what with stiffness, tightening and normal achy ness as the body goes through the ageing process. I choose to go to these professional duo for massage therapy and my body comes away feeling invigorated and thankful. This is wonderful therapy in maintaining balance for the physical mental and emotional well-being. I can’t praise these guys enough my outlook on life since meeting them is simply….just! Thank you Ruy & Valter ????????????????

    Professional Therapy
    Just want to say a BIG BIG THANK YOU to these two, for making the rest of my day pain free and pleasurable. Being my very first time there I was greeted by a friendly smiling person who made me feel comfortable and welcoming. Upon entering their front gate you step into a tranquil setting surrounded by water features Buddhism statues everything promoting peace and tranquillity. You then enter the house that shares an inside/outside flow once again enhancing a tranquil setting which appears to be the theme throughout the two rooms I was accommodated to, one was the massage room which was open to your changing lounge room. Nothing clinical about this place. It is clean and professionally attuned to the environment which made it quite easy to relax. I opted for a full body massage and the technique that was used was embraced by my very sore over-worked body. At first, a very warm room to help relax and soften the muscles, also warm towels were used throughout and a fan that gently cooled your body while being massaged. This father and son duo appear to be professionally adept to the needs of the client. Advising clients to allow the body to remain, as long as you want/can in a relax state to assist with the healing process. Once again THANK YOU THANK YOU ???????? ???????????????????????? Another awesome Body Massage, thank you so so much. A main focus this time was sore neck, shoulders and back. The best neck massage I have ever had as warm towels were applied to soften and relax tight areas then. I never knew my neck was capable of turning at an amazing angle what with stretching and manipulating tension areas. Honestly this father and son duo are amazingly, in-tuned to their profession and I highly recommend them your body will love you for this….definitely my go to ???? Blessings to you both ????????????????

    Just so professional and relaxing
    Moment you go through the gate you are in a different world. Ruy and Valter make you feel so relaxed from their welcome and their friendly and very professional attention with massage in encompassing treatment rooms. I cant speak highly enough about the experience there. Just feeling so much better physically and mentally and will and do certainly revisit

    Whether its for pleasure or for pain these guys are amazing! Relaxing environment and truely professional, I went there for my first ever massage for a sore lower back, went again a few weeks later for a relaxing treat to myself. Also for a truely amazing experience, wear socks to your appointment, if you do you will understand????????

    I have suffered from chronic back pain for over 7 years. Ruy and Valter are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and good at what they do. They have helped reduce the pain and stress in my body, which has helped me move more freely and for longer periods of time. I’m so grateful for them. They started as professionals but have become my friends. I highly recommend them to any person suffering from chronic pain.
