Heartwood Arts Therapy offers creative ways for clients to express their problems and their feelings, to offer another way to speak about and to see things. Rachel will help you in finding which creative medium helps you to feel most at home, whether that be through music, painting, photography, clay or even dance.
She is passionate about helping clients to get in touch with their inner child through creativity, and reconnecting them to this way of talking that in most of us has been long forgotten.
Rachel is a firm believer that everyone is creative, and that there is so much wisdom within each of us waiting to come out through different forms of communication, we just need to remember how to do it.

Creative arts therapy is a form of psychotherapy. It uses art, media, and the creative process to facilitate the exploration of feelings, improve, self-awareness and reduce anxiety for participants. Registered Creative Arts Therapists are university trained with a Masters Degree. They use both creative and psychotherapeutic methods to help clients better express themselves and to improve their wellbeing.
